For the foreseeable future Adelson McLean is donating a portion of all receivables to Direct Relief, an organization recommended by Forbes, CNBC and Fast Company for its actions toward the COVID-19 support effort. Currently, Direct Relief is coordinating with public health authorities, nonprofit organizations and businesses in the U.S., China and globally to provide personal protective equipment and essential medical items to health workers responding to coronavirus (COVID-19).

Here is a summary of their donations:

Located in Santa Barbara, and rated 4-stars on Charity Navigator, this humanitarian organization’s mission is to improve the health and lives of people affected by poverty or emergencies. Each year, Direct Relief distributes more than $1B in food, medical supplies and other relief items.

Additionally, Direct Relief applauds the emergency efforts launched by local states and cities to create exchanges for privately owned stocks of protective equipment to be donated and channeled to hospitals and health facilities. More details on these much-needed items and their donation requirements is available here.
