How Vaccine Mandates Impact Employment Insurance Policies

In Law360, Jeff Adelson of Adelson McLean has been quoted addressing the higher premiums, lower policy limits and stagnant defense rates.


“Because of COVID, the price of policies has gone up and the availability of these policies has diminished. It’s getting more and more difficult to get an employee practice liability policy,” said Jeffrey M. Adelson, co-managing shareholder of Adelson McLean, who represents policyholders.  Adelson said it is especially hard to get EPLI policies in California, where he is based, because the state has the most robust employee protection laws.
